Hmm..

You get points for everything coming together well. The idiots below only look at how nothing is filled in and there is no voices etc etc. They don't look at the idea and I really enjoy what is done already and what could be done. Keep it going, this could likely become one of newgrounds best if you did it right.

So many references

Ok, so maybe the humor could've been a little more deep, but for the most part it was great. Simple yet compelling animation, great (japanese) voice over work with good mouth coordination relating to the words. The theme from Azumango Dioh was a nice touch and threw out a little nostalgia for me and the airplane with the Lucky Star characters in it made me give a thumbs up. Pre-Tent. rape at the end threw me off, but the animation of the characters was top notch there and matched the sounds perfectly. All in all its great, minor flaws, but done very very well.

5'd and fav'd. Good job...

[Drunken Stick]

Well..

It wasn't perfect, the Drunken Art style I mean, some things just didn't flow as well either. But it was very well done, especially for a stick animation...a person would have to try hard to do better actually.

Bit short, which is unfortunate, I was pretty much expecting some kind of boss battle in there somewhere, but in the end it was good.

I wonder what standards you are rating it on mm? The old KK submissions HA! As a fellow artist, albeit not one with enough patience for flash, I will say that this art style isn't easy. Fewer frames then were needed perhaps but the message was brought across just fine, BETTER in some cases then if it was made to look more fluid. In other words it fit the style AND the feel of the flash quite well. The music really flowed well with the flash (or Vice Versa) and it is simply a fun thing to watch in all.

This is a high four/low five for me, but imma be nice and 5 it. Great job, the art, though not top notch, was good nonetheless. The sounds fit well in a ol' school way and the music drew you in wonderfully. Good job.

[Yoyo vs FLLFFL]

Well now...

First off *points downward* just because this is his second POSTED flash doesn't mean that he hasn't done quite a few beforehand.

Anywho, that was quite good, it rivaled the ancient Xiao battles and threw in a story as a little backdrop. In the end the animations were smooth, the tricks were crazy and the humor was fine. A good flash all in all, I wouldn't mind seeing more from you.

Fav.d for now, show me that I wasn't mistaken.

An absolutely fantastic world full of limitless possibilities. In the beginning it felt like the beginning of your classic video game but it soon brought me into a world full of imagination and pure story. The stuff of fantasy and dreams. You have made the World of Khale and his story into something that is truly real and fantastic. I, my friend, salute you along with the hundreds of others that would do the same.

Keep them coming and may you continue to get better and better.

Well this is rare...

I never write reviews...for flash or for music. But I am an artist, not a flash artist mind you, but your average everyday artist of basic ability. I will state that you must polish this up, put some real work into it before someone else does. Excellent job as it is, the music fits the theme of the flash and the flash depicts what the music says flawlessly. Very well done and good choices for the characters.

If you remake this spend some extra time on it, but for 8-9 days this is very well done indeed.

Hey Jeremy

Don't listen to the guy below me, he is just some little half-beat wannabe flash artist with little to no skill in anything productive apart from blamming decent flash productions with some small inconsiderate and pointless rave about the bad things on the flash in question. So mr...tones123 I pity you and the fact that you only created your little account on NG so you could state a review on this flash.

Otherwise it was quite good...some back of the door humor perhaps, but well timed and well put together. Grats on another one.

[Ash in Flashland #01]

Well well...

Still spooking little kids with that logo theme eh? But it does sound better, not as loud, don't know, maybe it was me before. Anyhow, on to the good and the bad...

Stuff you fail at:

-The background was moderate, ok I wasn't expecting anything special, but it just didn't feel like it had depth. I mean you have the word horizon in the logo, and though it was a good try, to an experienced eye something just looked wrong. It was good nonetheless.

-Even if it is just a little round circle beneath the character, a shadow would be recommended. That was the flash looks less 2D. This isn't a major issue, nothing really is in this flash, but its the minor things that hurt.

-When the SHPC Theme song is done playing, or even before, have it scroll up and have it fade as it goes, from there have the text that comes after it fade in as it scrolls up. Just an idea.

-You have heard this before, but though the character animation is mostly smooth, surprisingly smooth sometimes, it just seems like its a little choppy. Hard to really express it properly, perhaps the speed doesn't quite match the character's steps.

Things you did well:

-The comedy was, as per norm, quite entertaining. I actually laughed out loud at one point, and I am sure some of the other viewers can say the same.

-The charactes animations (such as the turning of the head) is done very well, the timing for these turns is also right up there, it conveys emotion, which is never easy to do in a sprite flash.

-The song fits the mood, and the ending "theme" fits the comedy portion quite well. It rounds off the flash nicely.

-DId I mention that your timing is perfect?

All in all you did a good job with this, for your second flash this is righ up there, the comedy aspect was good, timing...perfect, animation (sprite) is normal but with a unusual twist, and you left us, the ones who bothered watching the whole thing, wanting a little more.
