Well that wasn't bad...

I heard maybe three that sounded far enough off to be easily noticable to a geek like myself...but putting that aside nobody is perfect and to tell you the truth I lose track after a bit...ROFL that was great, the announcer voice was perfect I'll admit. Being able to do many voices myself I really have to admire this. Great job, one or two bad moments, but very good otherwise.

++Respect for this one,

*looks around*

*looks around again* Ok, wait, nobody bothered with a real review o.o.........ok fine, I'll push my lazy ass to do something here.

First off, the beginning of this piece builds up quickly and really gets you ready to listen to the rest, reminds me of the early days of Warcraft (and NO I am NOT talking about WoW >.> dunno if all you people have forgotten but there WAS A TIME BEFORE THAT MMO...garsh). Ok, where was I....ah yes...review...ahem *cough*.

It was a enjoyable song up to 00:25 where this voice came in. It was a "ok, what the hell" moment. Wasn't really expecting lyrics for a song that started out as a "epic (the word how it USED to be used) classical pre-battle theme". But ok, I'll listen...and I listened....and I listened....and then it stopped o.o. Started again, and I listened again and again x.x. Well okay, I am listening to it while writing this, but ignore that ^^. Ok, the lyrics started and they fit in surprisingly well with the background of this piece. The voice was pretty much perfect and the story flowed nicely. The buildups in this piece and the flow of emotion brought about, not just by the voice, was quite something. It makes a person want to rewind and listen to certain areas again. Compression was good, nothing was really too loud which is surprising since something is normally whistling to all hell, especially in pieces where there is voice. The ending turned me off a little bit, nothing horribly unpleasant, but it just felt much more random then the rest of the song and the voice just..kinda...felt off x.x. Course then he was all out of breathe and that brought me back XD.

It is a very good song - the way you brought a story to a commercial star of all people is really quite amusing. Whether they are your lyrics or not doesn't really matter in this case because pretty much any part of the song screams of skill.

Very well done indeed,

Oh, and darn you and that "Contact Only" PM system ^^.

No review...

But I am just going to agree with Wyld on this one. I have nothing more to add at this time.

Nice and short...the review I mean

Just as good, no...wait...BETTER then the original (I should know, I've had it on my iPod since the beginning of time). This adds in quite a bit to what I already know, but for some reason I still like the original more. Bit of an oddity there but meh, what can I say. The piano in this piece is very very very very very very very very very very very *cough* very well done. It really adds to the songs overall feeling and makes me want to download it...which I will, just not right now XD.

9/10 and a 5/5, nine because it is damned long fkn geez and a 5 simply because it sounds great.

NemesisTheory responds:

>:O nothing beats the original XD!!

thanks though, haha. i'm glad you liked the piano, and yes... the song is pretty long XD, SN figured he wanted me to make some "kickass (his words)" trance into the song for some unexpected twists so i let loose :D

that's why it's so long XD the original was about 6 minutes but pretty repetitive, in my opinion at least :D

thanks for the scores and review!

Aha!

Some of the instruments just felt slightly wrong when brought into play with the part of the song they were in. At the same time they led up to a great representation of instrumental coordination and talent. So it went from 'wah..." to 'holy *$#&@$ & BBQ sauce". Great job on the overall presentation of this piece. Its enjoyable to listen to all the way through.

Not a download on my part but its worth a 5/5.

Keep the good stuff rolling.

Haha...not my cup of tea

Mostly due to the fact that I really don't like tea all that much. But this is a fairly decent song in itself. I love various sounding...sounds XD. Oh screw it, it is a fun song and just as Wyldfyre stated it is damn near perfect for a space game.

Might be a good remix if anybody ever bothers.

-AJ-

Good job ^^

Imma just follow Wyld around ^^

Yet our scores match up pretty nicely. Great sounding guitar here w/ a decent fret if you listen closely. Keeps true to the original melody and throws in some great drums for additional effect. All in all I agree with Wyld below, it is a fairly good remix but I feel that it could do better. The ending...well...ends kinda quick. Suddenly you are listening to a drum/guitar performance and BAM it cuts out for half a second and you realize this song is only 1:23 minutes long.....could be better. But not bad for what it is.

Soft yet sharp...

Some areas in the beginning felt slightly off, possibly a slightly too low piano key that was used. But I shall forgive you for your transition to the main orchestral melody w/ strong percussion that you use. The timing is pretty much impeccable and the percussion by itself gives me goosebumps. ALL of your instruments flow nicely and the varying chords that you used to convey this drastic remix and remastering of the original really add up to what is a great song overall.

The original was fantastic and this is just as much so. Great job indeed.

-AJ-

Originally an 8/10 but bumped to a 9/10 due to your outstanding performance after the original piano opening.

I'll have to agree on this one...

Overall it is not a bad remix. But you are lacking in some basic areas such as the main melody being essentially the same. The "spunk" beat that you placed in this isn't bad, it steps up the songs original theme pitch and creates a slightly heavier atmosphere. In other words it just simply makes it sound better.

The ending could use some work, even a simple fade out would be better then what you have. You may want to think of adding a track or two to lead up to the song itself because if someone was listening to this on their iPod (or whatever you use) it would start abruptly. It just shows professionalism ^^.

Its not that bad of a remix but there are some key areas that need to be fixed. Work on those and you will have yourself a really nice remix indeed.

Different...yet...

That sharp, yet soft melodic feel of such quiet harmony within this piece just makes me want to write. So write I shall. Not a story but rather a thought, which is an adventure all its own.

In this world, this very plane of existence lives a simple truth. That truth is one of belief and order, a quiet melody relating to the soul of everything around you. Close your eyes and peer into the darkness, look for that light and let it shine magnificently. For while all those around you become rooted and shall never stray from the lives they have set will your light guide you through the darkest paths into the 'morrow. Always remember that guiding light. That simple truth. Remember that even within the darkest of days and nights that are darker still will there always be that source of inspiration to guide you in the right direction.

Remember always your light and you shall never break that bond that we all have with everything around us. That, more then anything, is what creativity is. It shows in whatever we do and sometimes, just sometimes what we do can be magical indeed.

Fantastic piece here, I couldn't begin to do it justice by explaining the chords and the melody surrounding me right now. It is very simple, yet that very simplicity does it a great justice.

~I would love to write with this person. Perhaps an email is in order, if such a person exists that can sit down and create a story and then have, by order of form, that story written in such an interface then they are truly someone to speak with. For this piece alone makes me want to go buy a piano right now and sit down to play my soul out on the strings and ivory............................. .. . . ...

-AJ-

Perhaps this is your magnum opis for the time. If it is not I would love to hear what your next "great work" will be. Until that time I think, keep in touch with all us here and never lose that feeling that you had when you created this piece. Never lose that light that will forever guide you.

Ok, so the world does not know my name. But there are those around me that do...and in the end that is all I need...
